Singapore. The Asia Pacific office of Ocean Specialists, Inc. (OSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jerry Brown to the position of Technical Manager - Subsea . In this role, Jerry will focus initially on the management of OSI’s offshore oil and gas undersea fiber network projects.

Jerry has a PhD (Mechanical & Industrial Engineering) and is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, and has more than 25 years experience in the design, manufacture, marine installation and maintenance / repair operations of subsea cable systems covering both fiber optic telecoms cables and oil & gas umbilicals for companies including STL Labs and Alcatel Submarine Networks. Most recently, Jerry was involved in the establishment of engineering and manufacturing facilities in Thailand for the manufacture of subsea umbilicals for the Oil & Gas industry.
